Snowshoeing has always been something I've wanted to do for a long time.  There's something special about winter, its beautiful emptiness, and walking around in the quietness of the forest.  We were lucky enough to borrow snowshoes from our friends and hike this five-mile loop to Tumalo Falls.  I loved how big my feet felt, how crunchy the snow was each time I took a step, and how warm the sun felt when it reflected off the white ground.
